Saoura Personal

One-to-one sessions for the slow, profound work of regulation.

Kinesiology and mind-body therapy for individuals who have spent a long time holding a great deal — and are ready, finally, to put some of it down.

Saoura is a safe place to exhale — and start feeling like yourself again.

What to expect

A session, simply.

We begin with a conversation — what is alive for you, what the body is carrying, what brought you here today. From there, kinesiology and gentle somatic work, fully clothed, on a treatment table.

The session unfolds gently, at a pace your system can meet. The work is in the listening — to muscle response, to breath, to the small signals the body has been making for a long time without an audience.

Ways we can work together

Three Session Offerings.

01

Mind-Body Integration Sessions

A space for emotional support, nervous system care and helping both your mind and your body shift patterns that talking or insight alone often cannot change.

Getting started
  • 90 minutes — includes intake, mind-body session work, and discussion around ongoing support and next steps.
Ongoing sessions
  • 60 minutes — ideal for ongoing regulation, integration and continued nervous system support through day-to-day pressures and transitions.
  • 90 minutes — suited for deeper or more layered work where additional time and space may support the process more fully.

What it's like to work with me

Your first session — a different kind of support. Sessions are calm, gently paced, and focused on both your experience and your body. There's no need to relive experiences or force insight. We work with your nervous system directly, so change can begin where patterns are formed.

You might notice your thinking begins to soften, your body starts to settle, and a sense of space returning.

Early sessions — things begin to shift. Many people notice small changes: feeling slightly calmer, responding a little differently, less tension in the body. These shifts can be subtle — but they matter. This is where we support your system to stabilise these changes so they can continue.

Working with patterns — moving out of learned automatic responses. Over a few sessions, patterns often become clearer: ways your body responds to stress; reactions that feel automatic; cycles that repeat, even when you understand them. As we continue to work together, your system begins to respond with more choice, stay more connected to yourself, and move through things without the same level of strain.

Integration — feeling more like yourself again. With continued support, many people notice a greater sense of calm and clarity, more space in their thinking and emotions, and the ability to switch off and recover more easily. Life may still be full — but it no longer feels as effortful.

Ongoing support when you need it. Some people choose to continue with regular sessions for a period of time. Others return when something arises or life becomes more demanding. There's no fixed path — only what feels supportive for you.

A gentle note. This work doesn't rely on trying harder or pushing through. It supports your body to respond differently — so change feels more natural and less effortful. You don't need to have it all figured out. We can work that out together.

02

Neurodivergent & Family Support

Support for children, families and neurodivergent adults seeking greater ease with regulation, connection and daily life.

  • Family Initial Consultation — 90 minutes. A parent-only intake session to understand your child's needs, family dynamics and what may be contributing beneath the surface before beginning child sessions.
  • Parent guidance sessions — 60 minutes. Supportive sessions for parents seeking guidance, clarity and a deeper understanding of their child's nervous system, behaviours and emotional needs.
  • Children's Sessions — 30 or 45 minutes. Gentle, child-led sessions tailored to your child's capacity, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing and reducing daily overwhelm or stress. Session length is guided by the child's age, needs and ability to engage comfortably in the process.
  • Adult & Adolescent Support — 60 minutes. Many neurodivergent adolescents and adults have spent years compensating without fully understanding why certain aspects of daily life feel harder than they should. Sessions support the brain and nervous system to reorganise so attention, regulation and daily demands require less effort.

What it's like to work with me

Sessions are neuro-affirming. The aim is not to change who someone is, but to reduce the friction that builds up in daily life so things begin to feel calmer and more manageable.

Many responses that appear difficult or defiant are signs of an overwhelmed nervous system — particularly when a neurodivergent person is navigating environments that were not designed with their needs in mind.

Rather than focusing on changing behaviour, sessions support regulation, safety and nervous system balance. As the nervous system settles, mood stabilises, reactions soften and connection becomes easier.

Because regulation develops within relationships, this work supports not only the individual but also parents, partners and family members.

People often seek support for:

  • Anxiety or persistent worry
  • Big or easily triggered emotional reactions
  • Difficulty settling after becoming upset
  • Sensory or emotional overwhelm
  • Difficulty with transitions
  • Resistance around school or work
  • Tension within family relationships

These responses are protective patterns — the body's way of trying to cope, not signs of failure or misbehaviour.

03

Professional Regulation Sessions

When you can manage the work — but it doesn't leave your mind.

  • Initial Professional Consultation — 90 minutes. A longer first session combining intake, nervous system regulation, practical coaching and professional support to explore how ongoing workload, responsibility and mental load are affecting your system, while establishing a clear direction moving forward.
  • Ongoing sessions — 60 minutes. Continued nervous system support and practical coaching to help improve mental clarity, emotional steadiness, boundaries and the ability to properly switch off after work. Many people attend fortnightly or monthly.

Working with me

Having worked in roles where composure and decision-making carried real consequences — as a criminal lawyer and barrister for over 20 years — I understand how sustained responsibility affects attention, judgement and recovery, even outside of work hours.

This is not about analysing your work or reducing standards. It is about ensuring the capacity you rely on professionally is properly supported physiologically. All sessions are approached with professional discretion and respect for the responsibilities people carry in their roles.

The coaching component is tailored to your professional and personal circumstances. Depending on your needs, this may include support around managing cognitive and emotional load; navigating workplace stress and responsibility; boundaries and sustainable work practices; decision-making and clarity; and identifying patterns that contribute to ongoing pressure or burnout. You will always leave a session equipped with tools to help support you between sessions.

Professionals often arrive when they notice:

  • Their mind replaying conversations or decisions long after work ends.
  • Difficulty mentally closing the day.
  • Reduced recovery despite taking breaks or time off.
  • Decision fatigue or reduced clarity under sustained demand.
  • Work occupying evenings, weekends or family time.
  • Feeling capable at work but depleted afterward.

Do I need to be struggling at work for this to be helpful? Not at all. Many people who come are functioning well in demanding roles. What they notice is that the mental load follows them long after the workday ends. This work supports people who want their mind to properly disengage from work so recovery becomes possible again.
